This book intends to bridge this gap. Key Features Extensive coverage of: • JDBC architecture and the different types of drivers • Basic SQL commands • RowSet and transaction management • Servlet API and its life cycle • Form validation • ServletConfig and ServletContext • Servlet chaining and session tracking • JSP and its life cycle • JSP tag and JSTL tag • JSP chaining and session tracking
The central phenomenon of this book are embedded lead users (ELUs): employees of firms who experience emerging needs and profit from solutions to these needs (i.e. who exhibit lead user characteristics) in relation to one or more of their employing firm’s products or services. In three subsequent studies I explore, how embedded lead users contribute to corporate innovation. I show which factors foster the lead userness of employees and what characterizes embedded lead users’ behaviors. This holds various implications for firms, e.g. with respect to the integration of user knowledge for innovation.
"A Complete Introduction to the World of Web Design: A Visual Approach" is a book aimed particularly at beginners who want to learn web designing step by step. However, it won't fail to enthrall even the somewhat more advanced user or even the expert, by supplementing or refining their knowledge. To accommodate this versatility, this book is divided into two sections; the first one focuses on teaching you how to use HTML to create your own web pages and the second one covers somewhat more advanced topics such as: Javascript, Search Engine Optimisation, Designing Logos and Titles, FAQs and much more. Furthermore, this book's intended audience also encompasses educators, teachers and instructors at schools, universities and other technical institutions who are looking for a book on web design to complement their course material or to serve as a main course book. A student interested in web design will also find it to be a useful addition to his reference library.
